And not one of you could have stopped it from happening to him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What invisible shield protects the Earth from the Sun's harmful particles?"
Watch the NOVA video How Earth's Magnetic Shield Protects Us From the Sun.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who could have stopped it?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who is my real protector?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69. Find ayah 47. The key word hajizin means anyone to hold back or shield. No one can stand between Allah and His decision. Yet Allah Himself gave the Earth a magnetic shield and the auroras that glow where it meets the Sun's wind.
Fact: What causes the northern lights?
Ages 5–8: Magnet shield. Sprinkle iron filings or paper clips around a magnet and see the pattern.
Ages 9–12: Aurora map. Find where on Earth people can see the auroras and why.
Finish with: "I found that the northern lights are caused by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for protection before leaving home."
Action: Ask Allah for protection before leaving home.
