And then He would have cut the main artery of his heart.
Start with bismillah.
Put two fingers gently on your wrist. Ask: "What can you feel?"
Watch the SciShow Kids video How to Feel Your Heart Beat.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What part of the body is mentioned?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who keeps my heart beating every second?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69. Find ayah 46. The key word al-watin means the life-artery, a big blood vessel from the heart. This is the end of the "if" that never happened. Our hearts beat about a hundred thousand times a day, and only Allah keeps them going.
Fact: How many times does your heart beat in one minute?
Ages 5–8: Pulse count. Count your pulse for one minute while resting, then after jumping.
Ages 9–12: Heart maths. Use your pulse to work out roughly how many beats in a day.
Finish with: "I found that my heart beats ___ times a minute."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for my healthy body each morning."
Action: Thank Allah for your healthy body each morning.
