4-I guide
He will be bound in a chain that measures seventy cubits.
Start with bismillah.
Measure a table with your forearm. Ask: "How did people measure before rulers?"
Watch the History Chronicles video How Did Ancient Egyptians Measure Everything?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How long is the chain?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the Quran give an exact number here?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69. Find ayah 32. The key words sab'una dhira'an mean seventy cubits. A cubit (dhira') is the length from elbow to fingertip, used by people long ago. The number shows that this warning is real and serious.
Fact: How many centimetres is one cubit, roughly?
Ages 5–8: Arm ruler. Measure your bed in cubits with your forearm. Then let an adult measure it too. Why are the answers different?
Ages 9–12: Old units. Find three old units based on the body (cubit, foot, span) and their sizes today.
Finish with: "I found that a cubit is about ___ centimetres."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will measure my words carefully before speaking."
Action: Measure your words carefully before speaking.
