4-I guide
Then he will be thrown into the blazing Fire.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What three things does a fire need to keep burning?"
Watch the Tender Intellects video What is Fire and the Fire Triangle?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where will he be taken?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay far from the Fire?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69. Find ayah 31. The key word al-jahim means the blazing Fire. Allah warns us about it so that we can stay safe, just as adults warn children about a hot stove. Believing, praying and being kind keep us far from it.
Fact: Which part of the fire triangle does a fire blanket take away?
Ages 5–8: Triangle. Draw the fire triangle and label heat, fuel and oxygen.
Ages 9–12: Safety plan. Find where the fire extinguisher or blanket is at home or school and how it works.
Finish with: "I found that a fire blanket takes away ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah every day to keep me and my family safe from the Fire."
Action: Ask Allah to protect your family.
