وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَٰبِيَهْ
Wa 'ammā man' 'ūtiya kitābahu bishimālihī fayaqūlu yālay'tanī lam' 'ūta kitābiyah'
And he that will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: "Ah! Would that my Record had not been given to me!

Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever wished you could undo something?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does this person wish?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I avoid that kind of regret?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69. Find ayah 25. The key words bi-shimalihi mean in his left hand, and ya laytani means oh, I wish. This person's choices led to sadness. The good news: while we are alive, we can still change our book.
Fact: What is a consequence?
Ages 5–8: Choice paths. Draw two paths from one choice, one kind and one unkind. Where does each lead?
Ages 9–12: If-then chart. Write five choices and the likely result of each.
Finish with: "I found that a consequence is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stop and think before one hard choice."
Action: Stop and think before one hard choice.
