4-I guide
The Day begins when a single blast is blown on the Trumpet.
Start with bismillah.
Put rice on a drum or tin lid and tap nearby. Ask: "Why does the rice jump?"
Watch the Curiously Kids video How Does Sound Travel?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How many blasts are mentioned?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How could one sound reach everyone at once?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69. Find ayah 13. The key words nafkhatun wahidah mean a single blast, and as-sur is the Trumpet. Sound travels as vibrations. One blast by Allah's command will be enough to begin the Last Day.
Fact: Does sound travel faster through air, water or steel?
Ages 5–8: Dancing rice. Put rice on stretched cling film over a bowl and make sounds nearby.
Ages 9–12: String phone. Make a cup-and-string phone. Does sound travel better when the string is tight?
Finish with: "I found that sound travels fastest through ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will start each morning by remembering Allah."
Action: Start each morning by remembering Allah.
