So do not obey those who deny the truth.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever been tempted to do something just because everyone else was?"
Watch the Glucose Guy video What is the Right Way to Handle Peer Pressure.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who should the Prophet not obey?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I be brave when others push me to do wrong?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qalam is surah 68. Find ayah 8. The key words fala tuti'il-mukadhdhibin mean do not obey the deniers. Sheep often follow the flock without thinking. Salmon swim against the current to reach where they need to go. Believers follow the truth, even when the crowd goes the other way.
Fact: Why do salmon swim upstream?
Ages 5–8: Follow or not? Play a game where you only copy the leader when they do something good.
Ages 9–12: Pressure plan. Write three ways to say no to a friend who asks you to do wrong.
Finish with: "I found that salmon swim upstream to ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say no kindly if someone asks me to do wrong."
Action: Say no kindly if someone asks you to do wrong.
