إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
'Inna rabbaka huwa 'aʻ'lamu biman ḍalla ʻan sabīlihī wahuwa 'aʻ'lamu bil-muh'tadīna
Verily it is thy Lord that knoweth best, which (among men) hath strayed from His Path: and He knoweth best those who receive (true) Guidance.

Your Lord knows best who has wandered off His path, and who is rightly guided.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "If you were blindfolded, how could someone guide you safely across a room?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who knows best who is guided?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay on Allah's path?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qalam is surah 68. Find ayah 7. The key words a'lamu biman dalla mean He knows best who has strayed. GPS uses satellites to show where we are and which way to go. Allah knows every heart and every path far better than any map.
Fact: How did sailors find their way across the sea before satellites?
Ages 5–8: Voice guide. Close your eyes while a family member guides you across the room using only words.
Ages 9–12: Star sailors. Find out how the North Star helped travellers keep their direction.
Finish with: "I found that sailors once found their way using ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah to keep me on the right path in my salah."
Action: Ask Allah to keep you on the right path in your salah.
