Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do we see clearly when things feel foggy?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qalam is surah 68. Find ayah 6. The key words bi-ayyikumul-maftun mean which of you is the one led astray. Those who mocked were the ones truly lost. Fog hides the land for a while, but when it clears, everything is seen as it is.
Fact: What is fog, and why does it disappear as the day warms up?
Ages 5–8: Foggy window. Breathe on a cold mirror, draw a smiley face, and watch it clear.
Ages 9–12: Fog science. Find out the difference between fog, mist and cloud.
Finish with: "I found that fog clears because ___."
