فَٱجْتَبَٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَجَعَلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

Fa-j'tabāhu rabbuhu fajaʻalahu mina ṣṣāliḥīna
Thus did his Lord choose him and make him of the Company of the Righteous.

Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can someone who made a mistake become even better afterwards?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah do for him?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Allah choose Yunus again?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qalam is surah 68. Find ayah 50. The key words fajtabahu rabbuh mean his Lord chose him. Prophet Yunus turned back to Allah, and Allah chose him and made him among the righteous. A plant can push through a crack in stone and grow tall; turning back to Allah can lift us higher than before.
Fact: How can plants grow through cracks in stone or pavement?
Ages 5–8: Crack hunt. Look for plants growing in cracks outside and draw one.
Ages 9–12: Second chance story. Write about a time someone gave you a second chance.
Finish with: "I found that plants grow through cracks by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give someone a second chance."
Action: Give someone a second chance.
