وَإِن يَكَادُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ بِأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ لَمَّا سَمِعُوا۟ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُۥ لَمَجْنُونٌۭ
Wa 'in yakādu -lladhīna kafarū layuz'liqūnaka bi'ab'ṣārihim' lammā samiʻū dhdhik'ra wayaqūlūna 'innahu lamaj'nūnun
And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!"

When they hear the Reminder, the disbelievers glare as if to knock the Prophet off his feet, calling him mad.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does it feel when someone glares at you?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they almost do with their eyes?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did Allah protect the Prophet?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qalam is surah 68. Find ayah 51. The key word la-yuzliqunaka means they would almost make you slip. Their looks were full of hate and jealousy. Many scholars mention the evil eye here; parents and teachers can explain more. Allah protected the Prophet, and we ask Allah to protect us too.
Fact: What is jealousy, and what can we do when we feel it?
Ages 5–8: Happy for you. Think of a friend's good news and say "masha Allah, I'm happy for you!"
Ages 9–12: Jealousy plan. Write three steps to calm jealous feelings.
Finish with: "I found that when I feel jealous I can ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say masha Allah when I see something good."
Action: Say masha Allah when you see something good.
