4-I guide
When they saw the garden, they cried that they must have come the wrong way.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What should you do if you ever get lost?"
Watch the WonderGrove Kids video Know What to Do if You Get Lost.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they think when they saw the garden?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why couldn't they recognise their own garden?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qalam is surah 68. Find ayah 26. The key words inna la-dallun mean we are surely lost. The garden was so ruined they thought they'd taken the wrong road. Then they understood: they weren't lost on the road; they had lost their way with Allah.
Fact: What are the safe steps to take if you get lost?
Ages 5–8: Safety card. Make a card with your family's phone number to keep safe.
Ages 9–12: Two kinds of lost. Write about being lost on a road and being lost in our choices. How do we find the way back in each?
Finish with: "I found that if I get lost I should ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn my family's phone number by heart."
Action: Learn your family's phone number by heart.
