4-I guide
They ask when this promise will come, if you are telling the truth.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who decided a year has twelve months?"
Watch the Mocomi video Who decided a year should have 12 months?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do the deniers ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people want to know exactly when things will happen?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mulk is surah 67. Find ayah 25. The key words mata hadhal-wa'd mean when is this promise? They asked to mock, not to learn. Calendars help us count days and months, but no calendar can tell when the Last Day will come.
Fact: How many months are in the Islamic (hijri) calendar, and what guides them?
Ages 5–8: Moon diary. Draw the moon's shape every night for a week.
Ages 9–12: Two calendars. Compare the hijri and the solar calendar: months, days, and how each is counted.
Finish with: "I found that hijri months follow ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn the names of the hijri months."
Action: Learn the names of the hijri months.
