أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ
'Alā yaʻ'lamu man' khalaqa wahuwa -llaṭīfu l-khabīru
Should He not know,- He that created? and He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-acquainted (with them).

Surely the One who created knows, for He is the Subtle, the All-Aware.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What's the smallest living part of your body?"
Watch the Free School video All About Cells and Cell Structure.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two names of Allah end this ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah know every tiny cell in me?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mulk is surah 67. Find ayah 14. The key words al-latif al-khabir mean the Subtle, the All-Aware. A maker knows what they made. Allah made every one of the trillions of cells in our bodies, and knows each one, even the tiniest details.
Fact: About how many cells are in the human body?
Ages 5–8: Cell model. Make a cell from a plate, jelly or play dough and small sweets or beads.
Ages 9–12: Onion cells. With an adult, look at onion skin under a microscope or a magnified photo.
Finish with: "I found that the body has about ___ cells."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn the meaning of Al-Latif and Al-Khabir."
Action: Learn the meaning of Al-Latif and Al-Khabir.
