Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What were believers asked to do first?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does giving make hearts purer?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mujadilah is surah 58. Find ayah 12. The key word sadaqah means charity. For a while, believers were asked to give charity before speaking privately with the Prophet. It showed respect and made their hearts purer. Those who couldn't afford it were forgiven.

Fact: What is the difference between zakah and sadaqah?

Ages 5–8: Give first. Put a coin in a charity box before asking for a favour this week.

Ages 9–12: Pure heart. Write how giving changes the way you feel.
