Start with bismillah.

Ask: "How does it feel when someone shuffles over to let you sit?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah do for those who make room?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does knowledge raise people up?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mujadilah is surah 58. Find ayah 11. The key words fafsahu yafsahillahu lakum mean make room and Allah will make room for you. When we make space for others, Allah makes our lives spacious. The ayah also says Allah raises believers and people of knowledge, step by step.

Fact: How many steps are in the stairs of your home or school?

Ages 5–8: Room for one more. At your next meal or circle time, shuffle to make room for someone.

Ages 9–12: Rising steps. Draw a staircase and write something you'd like to learn on each step.

Finish with: "I found that there are ___ steps."

Talk together:

• Why does Allah love it when we make room?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Who might need us to make room for them?
• How does learning raise us up?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will make room for someone left out."
