Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What has already been taken from people?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What promise have I made to Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hadid is surah 57. Find ayah 8. The key word mithaq means a firm covenant or promise. Allah reminds people that the Messenger is calling them, and that they have a promise with their Lord. Being dependable means keeping our word.

Fact: What does "covenant" mean?

Ages 5–8: Dependable jobs. Pick one job at home and do it every day without reminders.

Ages 9–12: My promises to Allah. Write three promises you want to keep for Allah.

Finish with: "I found that covenant means ___."

Talk together:

Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep one promise to Allah every day."
