Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should we spend from?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Do I really own my things, or am I looking after them?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hadid is surah 57. Find ayah 7. The key word mustakhlafin means made trustees, like caretakers. What we have came to us from people before us, and really belongs to Allah. We are caretakers, and Allah asks us to share.

Fact: What traits do children inherit from their parents?

Ages 5–8: Family gifts. Draw three things you got from your family, like your eyes or a skill.

Ages 9–12: Caretaker. Write how you'd care for and share something passed down to you.

Finish with: "I found that children inherit ___."

Talk together:

• What does it mean to be a caretaker, not an owner?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How can we share what we've been given?
• What will you pass on one day?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will share something I have with someone else."

• Draw family gifts.
• Share caretaker.
