لَّهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ
Llahu mul'ku ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi . wa'ilā-llahi tur'jaʻu l-'umūru
To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: and all affairs are referred back to Allah.

The kingdom of the skies and earth is His, and every matter returns to Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do salmon find their way back to the river where they hatched?"
Watch the Art We There Yet video The Life Cycle of Pacific Salmon. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where do all matters return?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does it mean that everything returns to Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hadid is surah 57. Find ayah 5. The key words wa ilallahi turja'ul-umur mean and to Allah all matters are returned. Salmon swim far into the ocean and then return home to their river. Everything we do, and we ourselves, return to Allah in the end.
Fact: How far do salmon swim to return to their home river?
Ages 5–8: Journey map. Draw a salmon's journey from river to sea and back.
Ages 9–12: Return home. Write how remembering we return to Allah helps us make good choices.
Finish with: "I found that salmon swim about ___ to get home."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will hand one worry back to Allah in du'a."
Action: Hand one worry back to Allah in du'a.
