Watch the Fresberg Cartoon video What Is Being Responsible?

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Waqi'ah is surah 56. Find ayah 86. The key words ghayra madinin mean not going to be held to account. Some people believed nobody would ever ask them about their deeds. This ayah and the next challenge them: if you truly answer to no one, then show your power. Being responsible means owning what we do.
Fact: What are three signs of a responsible person?
Ages 5–8: Job chart. Pick two jobs at home and tick them off each day this week.
Ages 9–12: Own it. Write about a time you made a mistake, owned up and fixed it.
Finish with: "I found that responsible people ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will own up quickly when I make a mistake."
Action: Own up quickly when you make a mistake.
