4-I guide
We are closer to that person than you are, though you do not see.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How many times does your heart beat in one day?"
Watch the Happy Learning video The Human Body: The Heart.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is nearer to the person than everyone in the room?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How is Allah near to me?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Waqi'ah is surah 56. Find ayah 85. The key words aqrabu ilayhi minkum mean nearer to him than you. Scholars explain that Allah is near through His complete knowledge, and His angels are present, though we cannot see them. Your heart beats all day without you asking. Allah knows every beat.
Fact: About how many times does a child's heart beat in a day?
Ages 5–8: Feel the beat. Find your pulse on your wrist or neck and count for fifteen seconds.
Ages 9–12: Pulse test. Measure your pulse at rest and after one minute of jumping, then explain the difference.
Finish with: "I found that my heart beats about ___ times a minute."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will talk to Allah in du'a when I feel worried."
Action: Talk to Allah in du'a when you feel worried.
