No reflections for this ayah yet. Be the first, by reflecting with the 4-I journey below!
4-I guide
It is sent down by the Lord of everything that exists.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How many stars are in our galaxy?"
Watch the SciShow Kids video Get to Know Your Galaxy!
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who sent the Quran down?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If Allah is Lord of all the worlds, why did He send a message to us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Waqi'ah is surah 56. Find ayah 80. The key words rabb al-'alamin mean Lord of all the worlds. Our galaxy alone has billions of stars, and there are billions of galaxies. The Lord of all of that sent a message to guide us. That shows how much He cares.
Fact: About how many stars are in the Milky Way?
Ages 5–8: Glitter galaxy. Make a spiral galaxy picture with glue and glitter on dark paper.
Ages 9–12: Space address. Write your "address" in space: home, town, country, planet, solar system, galaxy.
Finish with: "I found that the Milky Way has about ___ stars."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share one ayah I love with my family."
Action: Share one ayah you love with your family.
