4-I guide
Companions kept sheltered within pavilions.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can a tent stay cool in a blazing desert?"
Watch the Curious Minds video The Bedouin Survival Secret.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where are the companions of Jannah sheltered?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What will the pavilions of Jannah be like?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 72. The key words maqsurat fil-khiyam mean sheltered in pavilions. Desert tents woven from goat hair keep people cool, shaded and private. The companions of Jannah are kept honoured and protected in pavilions far finer than any tent.
Fact: How does a woven goat-hair tent keep cool in the desert?
Ages 5–8: Blanket tent. Build a tent with blankets and chairs and see how shady it is inside.
Ages 9–12: Tent design. Design a tent for a hot desert and explain each feature.
Finish with: "I found that desert tents stay cool because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will help keep our home tidy and peaceful."
Action: Help keep our home tidy and peaceful.
