4-I guide
Which of the gifts of your Lord, then, can you both deny?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How many different kinds of homes do animals build?"
Watch the learning junction video Animal Habitats.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What shelter has Allah given every creature?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who taught birds how to build nests?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 73. The key words fa bi-ayyi ala'i mean so which of the favours. Birds weave nests, beavers build lodges, rabbits dig burrows and bees build hives. Allah taught every creature how to make its home, just as He gave us ours.
Fact: Which animal builds the biggest home?
Ages 5–8: Home match. Draw five animals and match each to its home.
Ages 9–12: Builder animals. Find out how one animal builds its home, step by step.
Finish with: "I found that the biggest animal home is built by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make a small shelter or feeder for birds."
Action: Make a small shelter or feeder for birds.
