4-I guide
In them are companions who are good in character and beautiful.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes a person truly beautiful?"
Watch the FableVision video The Reflection in Me. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two qualities are mentioned?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is good character mentioned before beauty?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 70. The key words khayratun hisan mean good and beautiful. Allah made companions in Jannah who are good in character as well as beautiful. In this world too, good character makes a person shine more than looks ever can.
Fact: Which good qualities do people most admire in a friend?
Ages 5–8: Mirror words. Look in a mirror and say one good quality you have.
Ages 9–12: Character list. Write five qualities that make someone beautiful inside.
Finish with: "I found that people most admire ___ in a friend."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will praise someone for their character, not their looks."
Action: Praise someone for their character, not their looks.
