In both are fruit, date palms and pomegranates.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How many seeds are inside one pomegranate?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which fruits are named?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why are dates and pomegranates named here?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 68. The key words nakhl wa rumman mean date palms and pomegranates. A pomegranate holds hundreds of jewel-like seeds, each wrapped in juice. Dates give quick energy. Both are mentioned by name as fruits of these gardens.
Fact: How many seeds are usually inside a pomegranate?
Ages 5–8: Seed count. With an adult, open a pomegranate and count the seeds in one section.
Ages 9–12: Fruit facts. Compare the goodness in dates and pomegranates.
Finish with: "I found that a pomegranate has about ___ seeds."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share a pomegranate or dates with my family."
