4-I guide
So which of your Lord's gifts will you two reject?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How far would you walk for a bucket of water?"
Watch the National Geographic video Children in India Climb 40 Foot Well During Water Shortage.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What water blessing do we have that many people don't?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I help children who struggle to get water?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 67. The key words fa bi-ayyi mean so which. Many of us turn a tap and water flows. In some places, children climb into deep wells or walk for hours to fetch water. Water close to home is a favour many people pray for.
Fact: How many people in the world don't have clean water close to home?
Ages 5–8: Carry test. Carry a full bucket of water across the garden. How heavy is it?
Ages 9–12: Water fact sheet. Make a poster about people who lack clean water and how charities build wells.
Finish with: "I found that about ___ people don't have clean water close to home."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will save some coins towards a water charity."
Action: Save some coins towards a water charity.
