4-I guide
Then which of your Lord's favours will the two of you deny?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who helps keep your town safe, clean and healthy?"
Watch the Kids Academy video Community Helpers for Kids.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "If good is repaid with good, who has done good for us?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah send help through other people?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 61. The key word rabbikuma means the Lord of you both. Doctors, teachers, bin collectors, bus drivers and farmers help us every day. Allah often sends His favours through the hands of other people, and thanking them is part of thanking Him.
Fact: How many different helpers did your family rely on this week?
Ages 5–8: Helper cards. Make thank-you cards for two community helpers.
Ages 9–12: Helper interview. Ask one helper what their day is like and what makes it easier.
Finish with: "I found that ___ helpers helped my family this week."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank a helper by name."
Action: Thank a helper by name.
