4-I guide
Both gardens have many spreading branches.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can you tell how old a tree is?"
Watch the Planter's Digest video 5 Ways to Tell How Old A Tree Is.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How are the gardens described?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Do the trees in Jannah grow old?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 48. The key word afnan means branches, or many kinds. On Earth, a tree grows slowly, adding a ring each year and spreading new branches. The trees of Jannah are already full and spreading, giving shade and fruit without waiting.
Fact: How does a tree add a new ring each year?
Ages 5–8: Branch count. Find a small fallen branch and count how many times it splits.
Ages 9–12: Tree age. Measure round a tree trunk and estimate its age.
Finish with: "I found that a tree adds a ring each year because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn to recognise one tree by its leaves."
Action: Learn to recognise one tree by its leaves.
