4-I guide
Everything passes away; only your Lord, full of Majesty and Honour, remains forever.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Do even stars come to an end?"
Watch the Explore Planet English video Life Cycle of a Star.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What remains when everything else passes?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does it mean that Allah never ends?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 27. The key words dhul-jalali wal-ikram mean full of Majesty and Honour. Even giant stars are born, shine for millions of years and then fade. Everything has an end except Allah. He remains, Majestic and Generous, forever. If your child asks what "Face" means in the ayah, say: Allah is not like anything we know; ask your ustaz or ustazah.
Fact: What happens to a star like our Sun at the end of its life?
Ages 5–8: Star life. Draw a star being born, shining and fading.
Ages 9–12: Two names. Write what Majesty and Honour mean, and one sign of each you see in the world.
Finish with: "I found that at the end of its life, a star like the Sun ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram' in my du'a."
Action: Say 'ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram' in your du'a.
