4-I guide
So which of your Lord's many blessings could the two of you deny?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How long could a person live without water?"
Watch the TED-Ed video What would happen if you didn't drink water?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which gifts came just before this question?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How much of my body is water?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 21. The key words fa bi-ayyi mean so which. The seas and rivers in the last ayat hold the water every living thing needs. Without it, our bodies stop working within days. Every sip is a favour we cannot deny.
Fact: About how much of the human body is water?
Ages 5–8: Water count. Count every way your family uses water in one day.
Ages 9–12: Thirst test. Find out what the body does when it starts to run low on water.
Finish with: "I found that the body is about ___ water."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will carry a water bottle and drink often."
Action: Carry a water bottle and drink often.
