4-I guide
Between them is a barrier that neither crosses.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens where a river runs into the sea?"
Watch the NOAA video Estuaries: Where the River Meets the Sea.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is between the two seas?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah keep things in their proper place?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 20. The key word barzakh means a barrier. In an estuary, fresh river water and salty sea water meet, and a zone forms between them where special plants and fish live. Each water keeps its own nature. Allah set limits in nature, and limits for us too.
Fact: What is brackish water?
Ages 5–8: Estuary drawing. Draw a river running into the sea and colour the fresh, mixed and salty parts.
Ages 9–12: Estuary life. Find three creatures that live in estuaries and how they cope with changing salt.
Finish with: "I found that brackish water is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will respect one family rule without arguing."
Action: Respect one family rule without arguing.
