4-I guide
On it are fruits and date palms with covered clusters.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How long does it take a date seed to become a palm tree?"
Watch the growithjessie video I Spent 200 Days Growing Dates Into a Palm Tree.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which tree is named in this ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why are dates so special?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 11. The key words an-nakhl dhat al-akmam mean palm trees with sheaths. Date clusters grow inside protective coverings before they open. Date palms give food, shade, leaves for mats and wood, and they grow in hot, dry places where little else can.
Fact: How many dates can one palm tree give in a year?
Ages 5–8: Date seed. Look at a date seed, then plant it in a pot and keep it warm and damp.
Ages 9–12: Palm uses. List every way people have used date palms, from fruit to roof mats.
Finish with: "I found that one palm can give about ___ kilograms of dates a year."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share dates or fruit with a neighbour or friend."
Action: Share dates or fruit with a neighbour or friend.
