4-I guide
There is grain with its husk and leaves, and sweet-smelling plants.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does rice get from a muddy field to your plate?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two kinds of plants are mentioned?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah give us plants that smell nice?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 12. The key words al-habb dhul-'asf war-rayhan mean grain with husks, and fragrant plants. The grain feeds people, the stalks and leaves feed animals, and fragrant herbs bring sweet smells. One plant can help many creatures.
Fact: How much of the world's food comes from rice, wheat and corn?
Ages 5–8: Grain sort. Sort rice, lentils and oats into piles and say where each grows.
Ages 9–12: Plant uses. Choose wheat or rice and draw who uses each part of the plant.
Finish with: "I found that rice, wheat and corn give about ___ of the world's food."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will finish every grain of rice on my plate."
Action: Finish every grain of rice on your plate.
