Start with bismillah.

Ask: "How does an alarm clock wake you up?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who will call on that Day?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What will the call on that Day be like?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 6. The key word ad-da'i means the Caller. An alarm rings and everyone wakes up. On the Last Day, a Caller will call, and everyone will answer. Allah tells the Prophet to turn away from those who mock, because the Day will come anyway.

Fact: How does an alarm clock know when to ring?

Ages 5–8: Wake-up game. One person "sleeps", another rings a bell, and the sleeper jumps up ready.

Ages 9–12: Ready list. Write what you would want to have done before that Day.

Finish with: "I found that an alarm clock rings because ___."

Talk together:

• How can we be ready for a call we cannot predict?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What helps you answer the call to prayer quickly?
• What good deed would you start today?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will get up for prayer when I first hear the adhan."

• Get up at the first adhan.
• Play the wake-up game.
• Share your ready list.
• Next time: the next ayah (54:7) compares people to scattered locusts. Explore it together!

Action: Get up for prayer when you first hear the adhan.
