4-I guide
It was far-reaching wisdom, yet the warnings did not help them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is a really good piece of advice someone has given you?"
Watch the Socratica Kids video How to Be a Good Student.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What kind of message came to them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why doesn't good advice help someone who won't listen?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 5. The key words hikmatun baligha mean wisdom that reaches its goal. The Quran is full of wise advice that can change a life. But advice only helps when we listen and act on it.
Fact: What helps people remember advice they hear?
Ages 5–8: Advice tree. Draw a tree and write a piece of good advice on each leaf.
Ages 9–12: Advice test. Choose one piece of advice from the Quran and try it for a week.
Finish with: "I found that people remember advice better when ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will follow one piece of advice from a parent or teacher."
Action: Follow one piece of advice from a parent or teacher.
