4-I guide
Our command is only a single word, as quick as the blink of an eye.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How fast is a blink?"
Watch the Stuff to Blow Your Mind video Why we Blink.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How quick is Allah's command?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can something huge happen so fast?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 50. The key words kalamhin bil-basar mean like a glance of the eye. A blink takes only a fraction of a second, yet we do it thousands of times a day. Allah's command happens even faster than that. When He wills something, it simply is.
Fact: About how many times does a person blink in a day?
Ages 5–8: Blink count. Count how many times a friend blinks in one minute.
Ages 9–12: Fast things. List five of the fastest things you know, then compare them to Allah's command.
Finish with: "I found that people blink about ___ times a day."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will hand a big worry to Allah in du'a."
Action: Hand a big worry to Allah in du'a.
