4-I guide
It was a favour from Us; this is how We reward those who give thanks.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can practising gratitude make you happier?"
Watch the Teacher's Pet video Practicing Gratitude with Agent Grateful.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who does Allah reward in this way?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah love those who are thankful?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 35. The key word shakar means gave thanks. Lut's family was saved as a favour, because they were thankful believers. Gratitude is not just saying thank you; it means using Allah's gifts in good ways.
Fact: What do scientists say happens when people practise gratitude every day?
Ages 5–8: Thank-you hunt. Find ten things in your home to thank Allah for.
Ages 9–12: Gratitude in action. Choose one blessing and write how you can use it to do good.
Finish with: "I found that practising gratitude ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say alhamdulillah and do one good deed with a blessing I have."
Action: Say alhamdulillah and do one good deed with a blessing you have.
