Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the deniers follow?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is following every wish a problem?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 3. The key word ahwa'ahum means their desires. Wanting things is normal, but following every wish without thinking leads us wrong. The ayah also reminds us that every matter will settle where Allah decides, so the truth always wins in the end.

Fact: What part of our brain helps us wait and control our wishes?

Ages 5–8: Wait and win. Put a small treat in front of you and wait two minutes before eating it. What helped you wait?

Ages 9–12: Want or need. List ten things you want and mark which ones you really need.

Finish with: "I found that the part of the brain that helps us wait is ___."
