Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why should we always be kind to animals?"
Watch the Kiddoz World TV video Be Kind to Animals.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Thamud do to the she-camel?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is hurting an animal such a serious wrong?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 29. The key word 'aqara means he struck and harmed her. Instead of sharing fairly, Thamud got one man to harm the she-camel that Allah had sent. Hurting an animal that was a trust and a sign was a terrible choice. Islam teaches great kindness to animals.
Fact: What do animals need to be healthy and happy?
Ages 5–8: Animal helper. Fill a bird bath or put out water for animals on a hot day.
Ages 9–12: Kindness rules. Write five rules for treating animals kindly.

Make a small plan: "This week, I will do something kind for an animal."
Action: Do something kind for an animal.
