Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How was the water to be shared?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did the camel get its own turn?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 28. The key word qismah means a fair share. Thamud were told that the well water would be shared: one day for the she-camel, one day for them. Taking turns is fair, and it is a test of patience and honesty.

Fact: Why do people share water carefully in dry places?

Ages 5–8: Turn game. Play a game where everyone must wait their turn, and notice how it feels.

Ages 9–12: Share fairly. Write a fair plan for sharing a computer or toy between three children.
