Ask: "How did people long ago carve homes into rock?"

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 23. The key word Thamud is the name of an ancient people. They lived in north-west Arabia and were skilled at cutting into rock. Their messenger was Prophet Salih, peace be upon him. Despite their skill, they rejected his warnings.
Fact: Where in Arabia did the people of Thamud live?
Ages 5–8: Rock art. Draw a house carved into a cliff.
Ages 9–12: Map it. Find AlUla on a map of Saudi Arabia and describe the land around it.
