We sent a cold, roaring wind against them on a day of lasting misfortune.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does a tornado form?"

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 19. The key word sarsar means a fierce, icy, roaring wind. Strong winds today can bend trees and lift roofs, yet they are only a tiny sign of Allah's power. The wind that came to 'Ad was His command, and no building could stop it.
Fact: How fast can the strongest winds blow?
Ages 5–8: Wind scale. Make a list from gentle breeze to strong storm and draw a picture for each.
Ages 9–12: Beaufort scale. Find out what the Beaufort wind scale measures.
Finish with: "I found that the strongest winds can blow at ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a when a strong wind blows."
