Opening the ayah…
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍۢ
Wa laqad' yassar'nā l-qur''āna li dhdhik'ri fahal' min mmuddakirin
And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?

4-I guide
We have made the Quran easy to remember; so is there anyone who will take heed?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How good is your memory for pictures?"
Watch the Smile and Learn video Visual Memory Challenge for Kids.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What has Allah made easy?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is the Quran easier to remember than other books?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 17. The key word yassarna means We made easy. The Quran's rhythm, repeated phrases and beautiful sounds help it stay in the memory. Millions of children around the world have learned the whole Quran by heart. Allah made it easy for anyone who tries.
Fact: About how many people in the world have memorised the whole Quran?
Ages 5–8: Picture memory. Look at a page of pictures for thirty seconds, close the book, and name what you saw.
Ages 9–12: Rhythm help. Recite a short surah and tap the rhythm. Does it help you remember?
Finish with: "I found that ___ people have memorised the Quran."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one new ayah by heart."
Action: Learn one new ayah by heart.
