So how serious were My punishment and My warnings!
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What should you do when the weather turns dangerous?"
Watch the Explore Planet English video Weather Safety for Kindergarten.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question does Allah ask about His warnings?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do Allah's warnings always come true?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qamar is surah 54. Find ayah 16. The key word nudhur means warnings. When forecasters warn of a storm, wise people prepare. Allah's warnings are always true. This question comes back several times in the surah to make us stop and think.
Fact: How do weather forecasters warn people about storms?
Ages 5–8: Weather words. Match pictures to sun, rain, wind and storm, and say how to stay safe in each.
Ages 9–12: Warning count. Count how many times the surah asks about Allah's warnings.
Finish with: "I found that forecasters warn people by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will listen the first time I am warned."
Action: Listen the first time you are warned.
