So bow down to Allah and worship Him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does slow breathing help us feel calm?"
Watch The Mindfulness Teacher video Belly Breathing: Mindfulness for Children.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does the surah ask us to do at the end?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is sujood so special?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Najm is surah 53. Find ayah 62, the last ayah. The key words fasjudu lillah mean so prostrate to Allah. This is an ayah of sajdah: many Muslims bow down in prostration when they recite or hear it. Ask your teacher how. Sujood is when we are closest to Allah, and our bodies and hearts become calm and humble.
Fact: Which surah in the Quran is named after sujood (prostration)?
Ages 5–8: Calm sujood. Breathe slowly in and out before salah, then make your sujood slow and calm.
Ages 9–12: Surah map. Draw a map of Surah An-Najm: the star, the revelation, the idols, the lessons and the final sajdah.
Finish with: "I found that the surah named after sujood is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make one du'a in sujood every day."
Action: Make one du'a in sujood every day.
