4-I guide
It is He who causes death and gives life.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do trees lose their leaves and grow new ones?"
Watch the Concerning Reality video Why Do Trees Lose their Leaves? (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who gives life and takes it?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does nature show life coming back?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Najm is surah 53. Find ayah 44. The key words amata wa ahya mean He causes death and gives life. Trees drop their leaves in autumn and seem lifeless in winter, then burst into green in spring. Allah gives life and takes it, and He can bring life back.
Fact: What happens inside a tree during winter?
Ages 5–8: Leaf seasons. Draw a tree in autumn, winter and spring.
Ages 9–12: Life cycles. Write about three things in nature that seem to die and then come back.
Finish with: "I found that in winter a tree ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for life every morning."
Action: Thank Allah for life every morning.
