Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What comfort does Allah give the Prophet?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does it feel to know Allah is always watching over me?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tur is surah 52. Find ayah 48. The key words bi-a'yunina mean under Our eyes, in Our care. Allah comforts the Prophet: be patient, you are always in My sight. He is told to praise Allah when he gets up. Starting the day with Allah's praise brings calm and strength.

Fact: What is the dua we say when we wake up, and what does it mean in English?

Ages 5–8: Morning chart. Make a picture chart of your morning routine, starting with praising Allah.

Ages 9–12: Early bird test. Wake up fifteen minutes earlier for three days and note how you feel.

Finish with: "I found that waking up early makes me feel ___."

• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What could you say to Allah as soon as you wake?
• When is patience hardest for you?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?
