Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Where do you think gold comes from?"

Watch the Peekaboo Kidz video Where Does Gold Come From?

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who really owns the treasures?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah give some people more than others?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tur is surah 52. Find ayah 37. The key word khaza'in means treasures or storehouses. Rain, food, gold, knowledge and guidance are all in Allah's storehouses. No person controls them. Even gold took ages to form deep in the earth. It is a sign to ponder.

Fact: Why doesn't gold go rusty?

Ages 5–8: Treasure hunt. Hide five "treasures" and give clues. Talk about who gave us the real treasures.

Ages 9–12: Storehouse list. List ten treasures from Allah that money cannot buy.

Finish with: "I found that gold doesn't rust because ___."

Talk together:

• What are Allah's greatest treasures?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why should we ask Allah, not people, for what we need?
• Which treasure from Allah would you thank Him for first?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah first whenever I need something."

• Ask Allah first.
• Run a treasure hunt.
• Share your storehouse list.
• Next time: the next ayah (52:38) asks about a ladder to the sky. Explore it together!

Action: Ask Allah first whenever you need something.
