Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Why might people trust someone who has never told a lie?"

Watch the Bermit and Friends video Why Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) was called Al-Amin.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two false names did people call the Prophet?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did the Prophet keep going when people called him names?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tur is surah 52. Find ayah 29. The key word fa-dhakkir means so remind. Some people called the Prophet a kahin (fortune-teller) or majnun (mad). Allah tells him to keep reminding. Fortune-tellers guess about the unseen, but the Prophet only told people what Allah revealed to him.

Fact: Why was the Prophet called al-Amin before he received revelation?

Ages 5–8: Kind reminder. Practise reminding someone gently, with a smile, to say bismillah.

Ages 9–12: Name check. List three things people called the Prophet and the truth about each.

Finish with: "I found that the Prophet was called al-Amin because ___."
